For our collaboration with Émoi Émoi, we have revisited our iconic raincoat model: Amelot. Conceived and designed with the great adventure in mind and all of our inspirations for this collection, it reminds us of nature, clouds, adventure... Always suitable for your city and country looks, this raincoat is a true visual sweetness thanks to its pale orange colors and white clouds.

True to form, we didn't take away the technical and functional features of the original Amelot. It can still be stored as a bag when the sun comes back out, has a two-way zipper for comfort on the bike, and can be tightened at the waist and on the hood with drawstrings.

What is recycled polyester?

Essentially derived from the recycling of used bottles, food packaging and used clothing, rPET (or recycled polyester) is brought back to the state of fiber to be reused. This material ages slowly and resists well to UV rays or bad weather. The advantage is that it can be recycled several times.

PET can be recycled from post-industrial and post-consumer raw materials: it takes the equivalent of 12 recycled water bottles to make an Amelot raincoat.

An eco-responsible material:

The higher the proportion of recycled polyester in the industry, the greater the virtuous effect on environmental protection and respect. Indeed, the increase in the proportion of rPET mechanically leads to a decrease in the consumption of new PET. This solution requires optimization of the entire chain, starting with waste sorting.

The objective: to transform our household waste into a source of raw material with high added value.

The waterproofness of a fabric is its ability to prevent water penetration. Our recycled polyester fabric is resistant to 10,000 mm water column.

Global recycled standard

GRS is a voluntary international standard that establishes criteria for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical composition restrictions.
