For our collaboration with Émoi Émoi, we revisited our iconic raincoat model: Amelot. Thought out and designed in the image of the great adventure and all our inspirations for this collection, it recalls nature, clouds, adventure... Always as suitable for your city and country looks, this waterproof jacket is a real visual sweetness thanks to its pale orange colors and white clouds. 

True to form, we have not taken away the technical and functional characteristics of the original Amelot. It can always be stored in a bag as soon as the sun returns, has a two-way zipper to be comfortable on the bike, and tightens at the waist and on the hood thanks to its drawstrings.

What is recycled polyester?

Coming mainly from the recycling of used bottles, food packaging and used clothing, rPET (or recycled polyester) is brought back to the state of fiber to be reused. This material ages slowly and is resistant to UV rays or bad weather. The advantage is that it can be recycled several times.

PET can be recycled from post-industrial and post-consumer raw materials: It takes the equivalent of 12 recycled water bottles to make a raincoat Amelot.

An eco-responsible material:

The higher the percentage of recycled polyester in the industry, the greater the virtuous effect on protection and respect for the environment. Indeed, the increase in the proportion of rPET automatically leads to a drop in the consumption of new PET. This solution requires optimizations throughout the chain, starting with waste sorting.

Waterproof

The impermeability of a fabric is its ability to prevent the penetration of water. Our recycled polyester fabric is resistant to 10,000 mm of water column.

Global recycled standard

GRS is an international, voluntary standard that establishes criteria for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical composition restrictions.

Heat-sealed seams

They are sewn for optimal waterproofing against the rain.
